Blue bird of happiness (Shiawase no Aoitori)

The Tagawa-Ita Station platform was used as a location for the popular movie of the Showa-era, “It’s tough being a man, Blue bird of happiness,” (Otoko wa Tsuraiyo Kofuku no Aoitori).The blue bird of happiness is a love fulfillment object built in the inaugural year of Reiwa-era. The location of this object is famous because it is the auspicious spot where the actor and actress who co-starred in the movie later married.
